What You'll Achieve.
ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality; prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins
Industry & Context.
diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem; making repairs
stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas, work inside and outside in all weather conditions, push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance, Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training classes, business meetings, work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends and holidays
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1-2 years of property maintenance experience required, HVAC and electrical experience required, EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling, all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions, valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
Nice to Have
Happyco, Yardi, Site Audit Pro experience required
What You'll Do.
Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests
Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes
Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials
Completes documentation and other paperwork
Assists in maintaining the grounds
Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs
manages all vendor/contractor scheduling and project/work coordination
Periodically inspects work performed by contractors
Works in close coordination with Capital Projects Group
Assists in the preparation of the maintenance budget
