What They're Looking For.
Must Have
15 years of experience, 12+ years of hands-on mechanical design, Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, SolidWorks (mandatory), GD&T, FEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, hydraulics, pneumatics
Nice to Have
Creo / Inventor, Model-Based Definition (MBD), OEM experience, machine installation, commissioning, field issue troubleshooting
What You'll Do.
and develop engineers
Remain hands-on in mechanical design
Co-create end-to-end engineering solutions
Coordinate electrical and controls engineering efforts
Serve as trusted technical leader
Steward engineering quality
Influence design direction
Own and facilitate DOU / SOW definition
Lead execution of engineering programs
Ensure alignment across locations
Remain accountable for complex mechanical design
Ensure delivery of high-quality engineering documentation
Drive value creation through design optimization
Invest in mentoring and growing engineers
Hold accountability for delivery commitments
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner closely with global product management, manufacturing, and engineering teams; Coordinate and guide Electrical and Controls engineering efforts; Influence design direction through collaboration; Partner with global and cross-divisional stakeholders; Lead execution of engineering programs with global teams; Ensure alignment across locations, disciplines, and divisions; Guide design reviews, FMEA, and DFX activities collaboratively; Mentoring and growing engineers; Fostering collaboration across mechanical, electrical, controls, and related disciplines
Communication Scope
Communication skills for working with global stakeholders; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Process & Methodology
Lead execution of engineering programs, Own and facilitate the DOU / SOW definition process, Set realistic delivery commitments, Handle multiple priorities and NPD programs
