Citizenship, 100% onsite, Less than 10% travel, required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process, U. S. export control compliance requirements, A “U. S. Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. §120. 62 is required, An interim and/or final U. S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required, Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor Degree, Ability to obtain a U. S. Security Clearance for which the U. S. Government requires U. S. Citizenship, 14+ years of experience with full life-cycle Software development, modeling, simulation, testing, and/or analysis using C, C++, C#, Python, or Linux, 14+ years of experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics, 6+ years of experience leading software development and sustainment activities, 5+ years of experience with Field Service and/or Military Aircraft Support Equipment

Nice to Have

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 14+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 18+ years of directly related work experience OR 22+ years of related, relevant experience, Experience leading teams in the values, principles and practices of Agile Methodologies (e. g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), Experience with NI tools and components, Familiarity with development tools, such as Visual Studio, Git, and Jira, Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

design software on the ATE

implement software on the ATE

test software on the ATE

deploy software on the ATE

oversee work of the team

interface with external customers

provide estimates for new work

provide technical leadership

develop and lead complex technical solutions

advise management and customers on advanced technical research

lead team adoption of Enterprise Software design practices

DevSecOps environment

track and evaluate software team performance

set ATE system Provide software requirements

and maintenance guidance

interface with multiple customers to understand and deliver solutions

and release selloff activities

develop and oversee implementation of technical roadmaps

coordinate with other ATE software teams on common architectures

support software engineering proposal activities

support Technical Design Review (TDR) and other peer review activities

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

work with a multi-disciplined engineering team; collaborate with multi-disciplined engineers; interface with external customers; provide technical leadership to all levels of engineers on the team; guide development, test, troubleshooting, and release selloff activities; provide mentorship and support development of less experienced engineers; coordinate with other ATE software teams on common architectures; support Technical Design Review (TDR) and other peer review activities for other software engineers and adjacent systems engineering activities
