### **Job Description** ## Overview Supports environmental and multidisciplinary projects by creating technical drawings, managing geospatial data, and performing analysis using tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS. Responsible for producing site plans, cross-sections, 3D surfaces, and visualizations using LIDAR and GIS datasets, while ensuring high-quality mapping and data outputs. Requires relevant drafting/GIS qualification with 2–5 years of experience, preferably in environmental or consulting environments. ## Your role * Generating environmental assessment and remediation type drawings which may include site and utility location plans, PSI and DSI drawings, cross sections, contour plans and presentation type drawings from project engineer sketches and/ or notes as required for various projects * Creating 3D surfaces, profiles, and volume calculations from LIDAR data * Maintaining familiarity with available technologies (e.g., AutoCAD updates) and advise management of industry or other changes that may improve efficiencies or presentation of drawings or other visual renderings * Working with and maintaining various data-sets, including provincially supplied GIS data, and internally maintained data-sets (including work with our EQUIS database).
