What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience in layout within the VFX industry, Proficiency in Maya, Understanding of camera principles, photography, and cinematic language, Basic knowledge of Nuke, Basic knowledge of 3DEqualizer, Comfortable working with on-set data, Rigor, Autonomy, Attention to detail, Teamwork skills
Nice to Have
Experience with ShotGrid, Experience with other production-management tools, Experience in virtual production, Experience working with real-time scenes, Experience with Unreal Engine
What You'll Do.
Design and assemble 3D layout
Structure scenes in Maya
Prepare setups for pipeline
Interpret previs or supervisor directives
Set up cameras realistically
Build well-organized setups
Propose efficient layouts
Refine shot compositions
Refine camera movements
Ensure scene cleanliness
Ensure scene organization
Ensure scene optimization
Follow studio naming conventions
Follow technical standards
Take into account real-world capture data
