Why Marvel Fusion By joining us, you will be: Solving one of the most complex technological challenges known to humanity, harnessing Fusion on Earth Part of a highly purpose-driven team working on providing the world with clean, safe and abundant energy Working alongside world-leading scientists and entrepreneurs in the field of Fusion Part of a start-up where growth on a company and individual level is the default What you will own Lead the high-power laser diagnostics efforts Plan and coordinate the execution of experimental campaigns at high-power laser facilities Enable other scientific teams to perform experiments by providing diagnostic expertise and on-site support Lead data analysis efforts and report on scientific results Identify critical points early on and direct attention where it is needed, in close coordination with other scientific projects What you bring A PhD in Physics or Laser Science, or equivalent work experience A strong background in ultrafast laser physics 5+ years of post-PhD experience Proven leadership and coordination skills, with a track record of running projects beyond the PhD Hands-on experience within large-scale scientific infrastructure Solid knowledge of laser-plasma physics What we offer Our mission is motivation enough for many.
