What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completed training as a chemical laboratory assistant (CTA) or comparable and 1-2 years of experience as a laboratory assistant or similar or Bachelor's degree in a related field, e.g. Chemical Engineering, Ability to understand and follow English and German instructions

What You'll Do.
Routine data collection and analysis
including sample preparation
performing measurements and routine tests according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Performing new and repetitive laboratory activities in coordination with the local supervisor.
Performing chemical and physical tests to specifications of chemical raw materials and packaging materials.
Assisting in setting up equipment for mixing laboratory and pilot batches of experimental or established chemical products.
Performing routine and safety checks and preventive maintenance of equipment.
Recording observations and results and assisting in writing experimental reports
protocols and appropriate documentation in the laboratory journal.
Adhering to all safety standards
including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Maintaining a clean and safe workplace by following cleaning and housekeeping standards.
Managing chemical and packaging inventory in the laboratory
ordering and disposal of samples.
Maintaining product data in internal databases under the supervision of the RDE-OI project leaders.
