Full Job Description
We’re the world’s leading sports technology company, at the intersection between sports, media, and betting. More than 1,700 sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries rely on our know-how and technology to boost their business. ABOUT US: The Sports Data & Odds Engineering organization is responsible for developing, delivering, and operating a broad portfolio of products that power Sportradar's global sports data and betting ecosystem - processing millions of real-time events every day for media companies, sports federations, betting operators, and consumer apps across 120 countries. Working closely with rights holders, media organizations, and betting partners, our teams build and maintain highly scalable systems that support the collection, processing, analysis, and distribution of sports data and odds across more than 30 sports disciplines, including e-sports. The development teams based in Warsaw contribute to multiple products and initiatives across these domains, building distributed systems that operate at global scale, process millions of events daily, and deliver mission-critical services that are available 24/7. THE CHALLENGE: This is a role for an engineer who wants to own things - not just deliver them. You will take complex technical initiatives from design through to production, work across a high-performing distributed team, and have real influence over the architecture and practices of a platform used by millions of people every day. The problems here are not manufactured. They are the kind that come from operating at genuine scale in a real-time, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities: * Design, build, and operate scalable, high-performance Java services for sports data and betting products running 24/7 * Take independent ownership of complex technical initiatives from initial design through to production delivery * Contribute to cloud-native architecture on AWS, bringing experience
