Job Title: Senior Java Engineer Key Skills: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, AWS, Microservices Location: Campinas - SP Mode: Hybrid We at Coforge are hiring Senior Java Engineer with the following skill set. Key Responsibilities Develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend systems using Java and related technologies. Translate functional and non-functional requirements into well-architected backend solutions. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle — from design through deployment and production support. Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted testing and debugging tools) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Perform code reviews to peers and junior engineers. Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17+). Strong expertise in Spring and Spring Boot. Solid knowledge of Hibernate / JPA. Experience with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (relational). Proven experience building and maintaining microservices architectures. Hands-on experience containers such as Docker, and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, EKS). Familiarity with AWS Serverless Architecture: Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, API Gateway, SQS, RDS, VPC. Experience with GenAI tools and practices, including prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development workflows. Familiarity with GenAI concepts such as prompt engineering, embeddings, and LLM integration (e.g., Spring AI, LangChain4j).
