Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Develop, customize, and maintain native iOS applications built on the Backbase Digital Banking Platform, ensuring high performance and reliability. Extend and integrate Backbase mobile components to meet specific client requirements and deliver tailored digital banking experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Client stakeholders to define, build, and deliver technical solutions. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and release planning to ensure engineering excellence. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining application stability, scalability, and security standards. Translate business requirements into technical implementations in close collaboration with clients in a consulting environment. Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and development standards. Requirements: 5+ years of professional iOS development experience. Strong expertise in Swift and UIKit, with deep understanding of modern iOS development practices. Hands-on experience with Backbase Digital Banking Platform, including customization and integration of mobile components. Proven experience delivering digital banking solutions for banks, credit unions, or financial institutions. Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and scalable mobile design patterns. Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services in production applications. Experience with reactive programming (Combine and/or RxSwift). Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile release processes. Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
