What You'll Achieve.
Add value, and support strategic success of Internal Audit and the organization; Providing safety and soundness to the credit union’s membership
Industry & Context.
Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify continuing/ ad hoc audit services based on key performance indicators, key risk indicators and organizational and regulatory changes
Ability to be bonded is required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S) in finance or business, Minimum 4-6 years of internal audit experience, Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Ability to be bonded is required
Nice to Have
Information security/technology knowledge, Financial institution knowledge, Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFSA, CCUIA, etc. ) and/or willingness to obtain such
What You'll Do.

Coordination and completion of strategic projects that foster audit modernization and efficiency
Audit Quality (Staff Development

Monitoring and Quality Assurance (Quality Assurance and Improvement (QAIP) and Third Party monitoring)
Monitoring and reporting on project status throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain the utmost degree of integrity
professional skepticism
Create detailed project plans and cadences for assignments including key milestones
Track and report on the status of projects and audit services
Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify continuing/ ad hoc audit services based on key performance indicators
key risk indicators and organizational and regulatory changes
concise and timely documentation for all decisions and opportunities
Provide backup to the audit team when needed in completing the audit plan
Maintain continued professional education
