What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Several years' experience with a design firm, with a portfolio of completed interior design projects (including workplace or health), Currently operating at Designer or Senior Designer, with experience leading small project teams., Experience working with clients across commercial workplace, hospitality or health sectors is essential, ideally with a good working knowledge of the Australian market., Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent., Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tool are essential., Ability to lead and inspire design teams, with conceptual thinking and attention to detail., Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills., Project Management experience in coordinating teams, budgets, and timelines effectively., A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment., conceptual design skills and attention to detail., Currently located in Brisbane or available to relocate and have full working rights in Australia.
What You'll Do.
Lead the design process from concept through to completion
ensuring design excellence and innovation.
Develop and present compelling design concepts
and spatial strategies.
Oversee/participate in documentation
ensuring high-quality detailing and technical accuracy.
Manage client relationships
acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal teams
and contractors to coordinate design intent and project delivery.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers
fostering their professional growth.
Stay ahead of industry trends
and sustainable design practices to inform innovative solutions.
