We’re seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team building scalable, secure, enterprise-grade integration solutions across complex digital ecosystems. This role focuses on backend engineering and integration across APIs, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures, enabling seamless connectivity between enterprise systems and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities * Design and build scalable APIs and integration services using Java and Spring Boot * Develop enterprise integrations using REST APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven architecture * Work with platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS integration services * Build reusable integration components and support API gateway configuration and policies * Troubleshoot distributed system issues and support production integration services * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing automation, and DevSecOps practices ## Qualifications Required Experience * 5+ years’ backend software engineering experience with strong integration focus * Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices * Deep understanding of API-led architecture and integration patterns * Experience with REST APIs, messaging systems, and cloud services (AWS) * Familiarity with API management tools such as Apigee * Strong experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing practices * Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and secure API design Nice to Have * Docker and Kubernetes experience * Experience with observability tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana * Exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation * Experience in large-scale enterprise or Telco environments ## Additional Information Why join us: NCS Australia is where you can feel at home, nurturing your talents and skills as we make tomorrow together, one day at a time.
