3–5 years of experience in Information Risk Management, hands-on exposure to Disaster Recovery (DR) risks, controls, and testing, Solid understanding of DR concepts, testing methodologies, and IT infrastructure/application recovery, Familiar with risk and operational tools such as RCSA, incident management, loss tracking, and root cause analysis, MS experience with data analytics tools (e. g. , Power BI), communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders, Detail-oriented with analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, able to work with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Business Resilience IT Professional (CBRITP), CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC

Full Job Description
_We’re looking for a_** _Senior Information Risk Specialist_** _to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team at MBPS. This role sits within Global Information Risk Management and supports multiple areas of risk as part of a shared team. This role supports multiple risk domains including Information Risk Management, Third-Party Risk, and Disaster Recovery._ _You will play a key role in reviewing and assessing disaster recovery tests, ensuring results are properly documented, risks are identified, and follow-up actions are tracked through to completion. You’ll work closely with different teams across the business to ensure consistent and effective risk management practices._ _This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on analysis, documentation, and collaboration, while also contributing to improving processes and strengthening how risk is managed across the organization._ **Position Responsibilities:** * Perform independent reviews of disaster recovery (DR) tests, validating evidence and identifying gaps or risks * Document findings, observations, and conclusions accurately in centralized tracking tools * Support intake, prioritization, and tracking of DR activities requiring CoE oversight * Monitor and follow through on remediation actions and corrective action plans (CAPs) with stakeholders * Collaborate with DR, IRM, and business teams to gather information and communicate expectations and findings * Contribute to reporting, metrics, and process improvements, ensuring alignment with CoE SOPs, SLAs, and governance standards **Required Qualifications:** * 3–5 years of experience in Information Risk Management, with strong hands-on exposure to Disaster Recovery (DR) risks, controls, and testing * Solid understanding of DR concepts, testing methodologies, and IT infrastructure/application recovery * Familiar with risk and operational tools such as RCSA, incident management, loss tracking, and root cause analysis * Proficient in MS Office; experience with data
