What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, US Citizenship, Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, 14 or more years of experience in Industrial Engineering or similar role
Nice to Have
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Experience in test laboratory operations, Experience with project management, An active U. S. Secret Security Clearance
What You'll Do.
Apply industrial engineering concepts to meet program requirements
Support development of plant and equipment layouts
Evaluate new techniques for integration into production
and optimize production system
Conduct work-flow design and analysis
Develop models and spreadsheets for data analysis
Lead process and tool development for performance improvement
Lead implementation plans for facility modifications
Document work instructions and standardize work practices
Prepare operations plans
Execute planning using project management practices
Provide production and supply chain logistics support
Follow compliance requirements with safety and design standards
Lead metrics and data analysis for productivity improvement
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with cross functional teams from engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management; Collaborates frequently with BDS programs and production operations
Process & Methodology
Project management, Planning, Scheduling, Shop load practices
