Must Have
5 years of experience in customer success, 5 years of experience in account management, 5 years of experience in a client-facing role, Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Equivalent experience to degree, Experience with Altium, Experience with other PCB ECAD Library/component management, Ability to engage customers at the business level, Ability to drive alignment, Ability to drive execution, Ability to be highly effective in a matrix management organization, Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, Ability to travel up to 30%

Full Job Description
The Senior Implementation Engineer (SIE) is assigned to customers immediately after a deal is closed and plays a critical role in ensuring they fully understand and experience the value of Altium’s Enterprise Solutions (AES). In this role, the SIE drives successful solution implementation, enabling customers to become productive and confident with AES. A standout SIE is highly effective at influencing both internal and external stakeholders—this is the single most important characteristic of the role. SIEs consistently demonstrate value, translate systems and processes into practical workflows, and resolve issues efficiently across teams and customer environments. This position is essential in bridging the gap between Altium’s Sales, Customer Success (Technical Support), and R&D organizations, ensuring a seamless customer journey and strong cross‑functional alignment. A Day in The Life of Our Senior Implementation Engineer * Work with Account Managers, Solution Architects, and other SIEs to train, guide, and coach customers through the myAltium engagement process. * Provide detailed project management skills for the implementation and ensure the customer’s ongoing success post-deployment. * Use in-depth knowledge of the client, industry, business processes, and deep knowledge of the product and technical expertise to drive and increase the adoption and usage of AES. * Serve as the post-sale point of contact for customers during AES implementation. * Collaborate with Altium’s Customer Success (Technical Support) and R&D organizations to ensure timely resolution of issues, and to propose solutions that continually add value to the customer. * Handle escalations of implementation and customer productivity blocking issues, and coordinate related activities with Sales, TAMs, R&D, and Customer Success (Tech Support). * Work with Solution Architects and R&D to resolve software issues with the highest impact on customers and Altium’s business. * Build excellent customer rel
