What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Honours Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Industrial Psychology, or related field, Minimum of 8–10 years’ HR experience, At least 5 years operating at a senior HR Business Partner or HR Lead, Demonstrated experience providing end-to-end HR leadership across multiple business units or geographies, Experience working across multiple African countries or emerging markets, Experience in high-growth or scaling organisations, Experience working with remote or hybrid teams across multiple geographies, Exceptional people skills, Generalist HR capability across organisational design, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compensation, Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, Influencing and stakeholder management, High cultural intelligence, Ability to work across diverse cultures, Conflict resolution and mediation skills, Ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into practical organisational actions, Strong analytical skills, High level of adaptability, resilience, Ability to manage competing priorities, Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Nice to Have
Master’s Degree preferred, Experience in non-profit, social impact, education, or development sectors is advantageous
What You'll Do.
Serve as primary HR partner to designated country
Advise leadership on workforce strategy
Translate organisational and People strategy into actionable country-level
Provide guidance on organisational design
Support change management initiatives and transformation efforts within

Drive continuous improvement
Escalate strategic risks and complex matters
Lead and coordinate recruitment processes for country portfolios
and alignment to competency in
Support hiring managers in structured selection
Oversee onboarding to ensure effective integration of new
Ensure consistent application of job architecture
Ensure compliance with local labour legislation in each
Provide guidance on employment contracts

Support grievance management processes
