Type: Full-Time, Remote (LATAM) Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm EST Location: LATAM (Remote) Compensation: USD $1,500 - $3,000/month (depending on seniority) About the Company Our client is a boutique heavy civil construction company based in Miami, Florida specializing in site work, utilities, and infrastructure projects. The company is known for high-quality work and operates with a lean, efficient team structure.   Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Heavy Civil Estimator to join our team as a dedicated, full-time estimator working within our client's existing systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will own the full bid lifecycle — from plan review and quantity takeoff through bid submission and post-award coordination. This is a critical role where accuracy directly impacts profitability. You will work directly with the ownership team and play a key role in the company's ability to pursue blind bids and expand beyond referral-based work.   Responsibilities - Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architect and engineer-provided plans using PlanSwift and other estimating software — including material counts, labor hour assessments, and site-specific civil requirements. - Review project specifications, addendums, plan schedules, and local permitting requirements thoroughly to identify missing information and flag questions before bid submission. - Manage the full bid solicitation and submission process — from coordinating supplier and vendor pricing to preparing and submitting complete, accurate bids. - Track active bid invitations, manage the estimating pipeline, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on pricing and scope clarification. - Support post-award workflows including subcontractor buyouts, submittals packages, and ongoing coordination with subs and suppliers on scope and scheduling. - Collaborate with office staff on vendor outreach, quote compilation, and bid breakdowns as needed. - Dem
