Full Job Description

## Description At Atom Computing, we build quantum computers using arrays of optically trapped neutral atoms that will empower customers to achieve unprecedented computational breakthroughs. Join a world-class team of scientists, engineers, and business professionals to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum computing. Atom Computing is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Control Systems team. In this role, you will own the development and execution of test strategies for custom RF and mixed-signal electronic systems that support the operation of our quantum computers. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from prototype bring-up and characterization through production test development and manufacturing support. This is a hands-on role that combines hardware debugging, automated test development, fixture design, and close collaboration with hardware, FPGA, firmware, and software engineers. The position is based on-site in our Boulder, Colorado office and reports to the Control Systems Hardware Manager. ## Responsibilities Own production testing for a variety of custom RF and mixed-signal instruments. This includes test plan/procedure creation, fixture definition and design, software design and instrument automation Design test fixtures and equipment as required to perform acceptance tests on a variety of hardware equipment. Actively participate in instrument design reviews and advocate for and assist in ensuring a high level of design for manufacturability (DfM) and test (DfT) Actively participate in the bring-up, verification, testing, and debug of control system hardware systems, collaborating closely with FPGA, firmware, and software engineers. Develop characterization, verification / validation, and automated test procedures and programs for various electronics components. Work with assembly / test houses to ensure good coverage of board functionality and ease the process of board bring-up and verification Design tests to automatically log key
