What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), 5 years of relevant software engineering experience, Experience developing object-oriented software using C++ / C / Python in a Linux environment, Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman, Experience with orchestration tools like Kubernetes or similar, Experience with Agile methodology, including frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, Active and transferable U. S. government-issued Secret security clearance, U. S. citizenship
Nice to Have
Experience deploying multi-threaded software on Kubernetes clusters using Helm charts, Podman container images, and YAML configuration files, Expertise in debugging and resolving application issues on Kubernetes clusters using Kubectl commands, Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket, Proven ability to develop and integrate test suites using C++ Google Test and Python unit testing frameworks, Experience with fully automated system/unit tests in Jenkins pipelines, Experience with satellite ground system software, specifically in areas such as Mission Data Processing, Familiarity with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes, Experience serving as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, Familiarity with tools and practices like sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up meetings, collaboration and communication skills to interface with customers and support software installation and updates
