What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 5+ years of professional experience, Several years of experience hands-on with GNC analysis and design, Software skills in C++, Knowledge of control and optimization theory, Experience working with common LEO platform attitude actuators and sensors, Experience designing, analyzing, and implementing ADCS/GNC subsystems for spacecraft
Nice to Have
Experience with ADCS of low-jitter precision pointing platforms, Experience with control moment gyros, Experience with vibration isolation, Experience with spacecraft flight operations
What You'll Do.
Design attitude control architectures
Implement attitude control algorithms
Define requirements for ACS algorithms
Define requirements for ACS hardware
Define requirements for related systems
Develop roadmap for ACS
Perform analysis of mission-specific performance
Perform simulation of mission-specific performance
Support performance trending of on-orbit systems
Support anomaly resolution of on-orbit systems
Support software-in-the-loop test planning
Support hardware-in-the-loop test planning
Support test execution
