**_Job Description_** **What is the opportunity?** RBC Global Asset Management (“RBC GAM”) is a North American-based asset manager with global scope and industry-leading investment management capabilities. As part of a high performing team, this role will provide support in the day-to-day operations, valuations and reporting of the PH&N family of funds, with a focus on our specialty fund offerings. For more information, please visit: **What will you do?** * Ensure completion of daily tasks including preparation and review of trades, processing mortgage transactions, reconciliation of banks accounts * Support RBC GAM’s specialty funds including the calculation of performance fees, maintaining trading calendars, and performing related fund accounting processes * Review and prepare monthly and quarterly reports to key stakeholders * Assist in preparation and reviewing semi-annual and year-end financial statements including audit support, research and resolution of discrepancies * Assist in operational initiatives and enhancements and maintain internal procedures/policies and ensure controls are followed * Other related duties as assigned. **What do you need to succeed?** **Must Have** * High attention to detail accuracy * Practical knowledge of financial products, Mutual fund operations * Basic accounting skills * Ability to deal with the pressures of strict deadlines * Good judgment and problem solving skills * Intermediate to advanced PC literacy, specifically MS Excel and Eagle Investment * Good communication, organization, and time management skills * Flexibility to work overtime when required **Nice to Have** * Successful completion of a related post-secondary degree or diploma * Experience in the Mutual Fund/Investment industry along with 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience * Completion of an industry related course (IFIC Mutual Funds Course or CSC) would be considered an asset. **What’s in it for you**?
