Improve capability, efficiency, and safety of airliners; Meet requirements and objectives for flight control laws functions; Rapidly converge on preferred configurations; Ensure readiness for production start-up milestones

Resolve airplane level requirements into system level requirements; Resolve system level requirements into functional requirements; Analysis and resolution of rejections; Problem reports investigation and timely resolution/dispositioning; Resolve compliance issues; Resolution of regulation conflicts; Timely resolution of prototype and first build problems
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil, Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status, This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Must Have
Existing rights to work in Brazil, Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA), Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
Nice to Have
In depth experience with modeling and control systems, In depth experience with system monitoring design and signal input processing, Programming experience, In depth experience with certification process for aeronautical products, Knowledge in modeling with Matlab/Simulink, Knowledge in flight mechanics, Knowledge in programming language (Python or C++), Knowledge in requirement management tools (IBM Rational DOORS), Knowledge in version control and storage (GIT/SVN or equivalent)
What You'll Do.
test and certify flight control laws systems for large commercial aircraft
Support production and fleet operations
Plan and execute system- and component-level validation activities
Develop system and subsystem architecture alternatives for primary flight control laws functions
Analyze and compare alternatives (trade study)
Verify flight control requirements through simulation and analytical methods
Resolve airplane level requirements into system level requirements and resolve system level requirements into functional requirements
Analysis and resolution of rejections and ground/flight test data review
Problem reports investigation and timely resolution/dispositioning
Participate in certification activities
Participate in system
component and detail certification efforts
Support production efforts including timely resolution of prototype and first build problems

Team & Collaboration
Cross-functional coordination within and outside of Boeing including with: manufacturing, avionics, crew-ops, airplane safety, aerodynamics, supply chain management, BCA systems software, suppliers, airline customers, and regulatory agencies
Communication Scope
Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
