What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience, U. S. citizenship is required, 3-5 years of experience in certification/testing and aircraft cabin interiors, preferably commercial seating

Nice to Have

Familiarity with testing and substantiation for Bunsen burner tests, oil burner tests, and OSU heat release / smoke density per 14 CFR 25 App F, Working knowledge of certification under 14 CFR Part 21 and Part 25, Knowledge for TSO/PMA/STC/TC qualification and certification, Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, Clear communication and technical leadership skills

What You'll Do.

Showing compliance of commercial seats federal and industry standards to support implementation of seat modifications onto aircraft

and design reviews to show compliance with applicable structural and occupant injury requirements

Generate and check compliance plans and documents to support TSO

Review proposed projects for feasibility
