Headquartered in Toronto and backed by $13M in venture capital, the company serves thousands of institutional and professional clients and reaches millions of end-users through its API ecosystem. ** About the Role ** We are seeking a **Senior Financial Analyst** who will serve in an **accounting & operations** capacity, owning day to day accounting operations while supporting financial analysis and reporting. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role is critical to ensuring accurate financial records, timely close processes, and strong compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys building structure, taking initiative, and contributing to a growing organization. **Key Responsibilities ** * Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency. * Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. * Own month-end accounting close activities, including journal entries and general ledger close processes. * Prepare and analyze variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecasts. * Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for internal reporting and tax purposes, and assist in preparation of quarterly board of director Finance materials. * Draft and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and technical accounting memos. * Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls. * Work cross-functionally with Sales
