Eligibility Requirements

Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or Economics, or equivalent with emphasis on quantitative analysis and methods, 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting in a complex and changing environment, Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 software (Excel)

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning and Power BI an asset, CPA or CFA designation (or equivalent education/professional accounting designation MBA, CA, CGA, or CMA)

What You'll Do.

Leading a team of analysts in monthly forecasting processes (P&L

Other Operational Metrics)

Leveraging financial planning software (Workday Adaptive Planning)

Business partnering with Directors/Executives in operational areas

Analyzing monthly data and assisting in production of commentary to the Executive team

Identifying key risks and opportunities for the business

Budget to actual variance commentary

Recommendations on forecasted performance for products and business units

Supporting with board of director and executive reporting

Reviewing and building capital expenditure project proposals

Developing and managing analytical tools and processes to improve the quality and transparency of financial results and forecasts

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Business partnering with operational Directors/Executives across BCAA; Working collaboratively with finance and non-finance team members; Building relationships with a diverse group, at all levels of the organization

Presenting conclusions and recommendations to management teams; Present and communicate financial information so it’s understood by anyone at any level in the organization; Present analysis, conclusions, and recommendations via presentations and in written form
