What They're Looking For.
Must Have
CPA accreditation or working towards CPA designation, 3+ years of relevant work experience, Capital Markets accounting experience, Knowledge of IFRS, Knowledge of Financial Reporting requirements for Financial Instruments, Understanding of interest rate products, Understanding of customized bonds, Understanding of currency products, Understanding of equity-linked derivatives, Understanding of repo and collateral for derivative transactions
Nice to Have
CFA designation, Public accounting firms experience
What You'll Do.
and timely inputs to reporting groups
Provide accounts attestation
Ensure balance sheet accounts are substantiated
Support investigation and analysis of different methodologies
Implement changes in accounting policies/requirements in a controlled manner
Maintain end to end process maps and detailed task manuals
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Liaise with Front Office, CFO group, Accounting Policy, Reporting COE, Reconciliations COE and Operations; Good communication, teamwork, partnership and relationship building skills sufficient to act in a collaborative manner with team members and stakeholders from different backgrounds and experiences; Liaise daily with Finance, Front Office and other Capital Markets’ stakeholder groups
