Full Job Description

## Accountabilities Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with ASPE accounting standards while maintaining strong General Ledger integrity Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, SaaS revenue recognition, and support audit, tax, and external reporting requirements Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring financial accuracy and risk mitigation across accounting processes Build and maintain KPI dashboards, financial models, and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with department leaders and ensure alignment with company objectives Perform variance analysis and identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support business performance Drive process optimization, automation, and system improvements across accounting and FP&A functions, including AI-enabled tools Requirements: CPA designation required 3–5+ years of experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or corporate accounting Experience in public accounting or Big Four environments considered a strong asset Strong knowledge of ASPE accounting standards and operational finance principles Experience in SaaS or technology environments is highly valued Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with exposure to ERP and FP&A systems preferred Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with business stakeholders Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Demonstrated curiosity for innovation, including familiarity with AI tools and willingness to explore new technologies Benefits: Competitive salary range: 110,000 to 120,000 CAD Remote-first role within Canada with flexible work arrangements Comprehensive health, dental, and disability coverage starting from day one Virtual care, mental health support,
