Full Job Description
We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our FUN-ance Team (yes, that’s what we call ourselves!). This role is perfect for someone who loves a mix of day-to-day accounting operations and forward-looking financial strategy. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, driving insights, and supporting Coconut’s continued growth as a high-performing Canadian B2B SaaS company. YOU’RE FIRED UP TO SUPPORT Financial Controllership (50%) Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements in strict accordance with ASPE standards. Operational Accounting: Execute complex reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring precise SaaS revenue recognition and maintaining General Ledger integrity. Compliance experience with ERP and FP you know your debits from your credits and your coconuts from your palms A curiosity for innovation: We're looking for someone who loves to learn and elevate their skills with new technology, particularly AI and large language models (LLMs) like Google Gemini. You should have a foundational understanding of how these tools work and a strong desire to explore how they can be used to solve business and customer problems. We value continuous learning and our ideal candidate has a proven track record of innovating and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. This posting is for a vacant position. The expected hiring range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000. The base salary for this position is listed to support candidates to align themselves within the target range. The range is grounded in comprehensive analysis of national compensation data for similar roles and company sizes in the technology sector, alongside a review of our internal compensation framework to ensure pay equity across the company.
