Full Job Description

Over $500 billion is spent each year on digital advertising worldwide, all while the industry experiences foundational changes in terms of media advertisers want to buy, how potential customers spend time online, and an ever evolving privacy landscape. Amazon Advertising Finance is looking for a Finance Manager to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon and support our Ad Tech team on building our Streaming TV and Audio business and help our advertisers reach customers and drive outcomes. This role will work hand in hand with the product team, sales team, and other finance members to evaluate new partnerships, size the potential opportunity of new product launches, set goals/targets, analyze petabytes worth of data, make suggestions based on analysis, and write strategy documents. Key job responsibilities Partner closely with the business on strategic initiatives and to size the opportunity (customers, ad spend, etc.) of new product launches Analyze rich supply, demand, and auction/bidding, data in order to provide tangible insights that influence real-time decision making Establish new performance metrics to track and communicate business health and drive insightful deep dives into our business Write 1-6 page strategy documents Participate in and lead parts of the quarterly guidance and yearly operational plans, including revenue forecasting Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial syste
