It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion-dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Senior Financial Analyst to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology, manufacturing and finance, who thinks/acts globally, and has the ability to create and implement scalable solutions. This position will partner with the team that is building customer terminals and ground systems and has a global impact. Success in this role requires ability to partner with and influence business owners. This candidate will be highly analytical, detail oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial responsibilities and decision making in a rapidly evolving business. This role requires a self-starter with strong modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with senior executives, various business units, and multiple stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Key job responsibilities - Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide data driven financial guidance to the business partners. - Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders. - Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations. - Responsible for delivering monthly/quarterly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advanced excel functions.
