Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join the Amazon Photo’s Finance team. Amazon Photos empowers consumers to preserve and relive their cherished memories. As part of this mission, our service offers unlimited photo storage for Prime members and is accessible through multiple platforms including iOS, Android, Web, Desktop, Fire Tablet, and Fire TV. Integrated with Alexa-enabled devices like the Echo Show and Echo Spot, Amazon Photos emerges as a next-generation digital service, building on the successful launches of Amazon Music and Amazon Video. We have ambitious goals to scale growth and adoption of the service around the world and delight our customers with a great product. The core of Amazon Photo’s Finance is to build financial models for new and ambiguous business opportunities and to clearly articulate the mechanics, risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs to business partners. The role is responsible for end-to-end financial support for major investments across a diverse set of categories including new device hardware investments, software services, monetization initiatives, and cost controllership. The SFA will support dedicated verticals within the Amazon Photo’s business with the opportunity to work with experienced leaders and teams across the world. The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing business partners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. The candidate incorporates data into their decision-making frameworks and has a strong desire to learn new models while enacting change across the business. The role requires a self-starter with the ability to be both strategic and analytical in their support of the business, with high expectations and room for growth.
