Must Have
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field, Experience in tax, finance or related analytical field, Experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes, Speak, write, and read fluently in English, Ability to take direction in English, Experience dealing with and analysing differences across multiple GAAPs, Experience MS Office applications, Working knowledge of SQL
Nice to Have
MBA or CPA, Knowledge of GAAP research tools, Knowledge of FASB codification, Experience participating in continuous improvement projects
What You'll Do.
Take ownership and demonstrate self-initiative
Drive or participate in national and international accounting
Business partnering within the Amazon group
Develop and manage scalable and automated processes
International coordination with the global Accounting organization
Responsibility for month-end
quarter-end and year-end closing of
Assessment and evaluation of GAAP-to-GAAP differences
Support improvements in accounting processes
Support improvements in internal workflows
Support implementation of best practices
