US-GAAP experience, German GAAP knowledge, Prior solid relevant professional experience in a tax/accounting role within an international environment, Solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts, Advanced Excel proficiency, Advanced PowerPoint proficiency, Google spreadsheets proficiency, Google slides proficiency, Excellent communication skills in English, Excellent communication skills in German, analytical skills, solution-oriented

Nice to Have

Proven experience in Automation and AI will be an advantage, Familiarity with Oracle ERP and Knowledge of EPM Oracle is an advantage

What You'll Do.

Lead the end-to-end preparation and filing of annual Statutory Financial Statements in accordance with local German GAAP and US-GAAP

Participate in monthly and quarterly closing processes

as well as SOX compliance - testing and maintaining internal control environments

Prepare and file comprehensive corporate income tax returns

ensuring all deductions and credits are accurately captured

Manage and submit required periodic statistical filings to government agencies and regulatory bodies

Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities during routine audits or inquiries

Participate in special projects

such as system implementations

or financial analysis

Provide internal guidance on tax implications for business decisions and changes in tax legislation
