Position Summary The Senior Financial Accountant is a key member of Wise’s Pacific Finance team, reporting to the Head of Pacific Finance. The role is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening financial controls, and driving automation and process improvements across Australia and the Pacific region. The Role: * Financial Reporting & Analysis. Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting processes for Pacific entities. Prepare monthly financial performance analysis including Balance sheet commentary, and quarterly board reporting packs. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. * Regulatory Reporting & Compliance. Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks. Support implementation of new regulatory requirements and assess their financial reporting impact. * Process Automation & Data Excellence. Identify, design, and implement opportunities to automate manual finance processes and reporting activities. Use SQL and data tools to improve reporting efficiency and data quality. Develop scalable reporting solutions that reduce manual effort. Champion continuous improvement initiatives across Pacific finance. * Controls, Governance & Audit. Strengthen and maintain f
