Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 10+ years accounting leadership experience, 5 years aerospace manufacturing experience, Minimum 5 years as Controller, Experience in mid-sized company, Eligibility for ITAR compliance
Nice to Have
CPA or MBA strongly preferred, Hands-on DCAA audits experience, FAR Part 31 cost allowability experience, QuickBooks experience, Power BI experience, Implementing paperless AP/AR systems, Shop-floor data collection systems experience, Aerospace certifications compliance familiarity
What You'll Do.
Lead financial reporting
Perform variance analysis
Oversee cost accounting
Maintain ERP standard cost systems
Support pricing on RFQs
Support pricing on contracts
Manage cash flow forecasting
Manage banking relationships
Ensure GAAP compliance
Ensure ITAR compliance
Ensure EAR compliance
Ensure DCAA compliance
Ensure FAR/DFARS compliance
Lead annual budgeting
Lead long-term financial planning
Manage accounting functions
Make daily journal entries
Prepare financial statements
Manage tax compliance
Oversee ERP standard cost system
Drive margin improvements
Coordinate with external CPAs
Oversee physical inventory
Drive ERP improvement initiatives
Drive process improvement initiatives
