Must Have
Bachelor's/ Master's / PhD in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related quantitative field, Proven experience in analytics or analytics engineering, Excellent programming skills in SQL and Python, Familiarity with version control (Git), Hands-on experience with dbt (or Paradime), Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, Solid understanding of ETL best practices, Experience with at least one major BI/visualization tool
Nice to Have
Additional certifications are a plus (CFA etc.), Ideally in a Finance, Fintech, or commercial context, Exposure to data science is a plus, Experience working with modern cloud data warehouses (Redshift etc) is a plus

Partner with Finance team

Translate ambiguous questions into clear analytical deliverables
Analyze data (primarily financial)
Set up dashboards that convey them clearly and
Write production-grade SQL
Write production-grade Python
Support analytics workflows
Support reusable analytical tooling
Design scalable data models using dbt (or Paradime)
Build scalable data models using dbt (or Paradime)
Document scalable data models using dbt (or Paradime)
Maintain scalable data models using dbt (or Paradime)
Support finance and cross-functional reporting needs
Automate data collection
Automate data cleaning
Automate data transformation
Automate data deployment
Ensure data is reliably available for analysis
Contribute to data quality
Contribute to testing
Contribute to documentation
Contribute to engineering standards across the analytics stack
Mentor junior team members on SQL
Mentor junior team members on modeling best practices
Mentor junior team members on analytical rigor
