What You'll Do.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems
Respond to and resolve maintenance requests
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC
and electrical systems
Perform general building repairs
Maintain building systems and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Assist with groundskeeping and landscaping as needed

The Senior Facilities Technician (SFT) reports to the Regional Facilities Manager and serves as the primary facilities operations across multiple assigned KIPP Texas campuses. This role is responsible for maintaining all building systems, managing campus buildings and grounds across all trade areas, and ensuring the campus meets KIPP Texas's cleaning, maintenance, safety, and compliance standards at all times. The SFT directly supervises Facilities Technicians at the assigned campus, including full staffing authority, manages the campus facilities maintenance budget, and serves as the primary technical escalation resource for all facility issues.
