This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. ## Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Facilities Architect licensed in Florida to join our team. This position will play a critical role in overseeing architectural design for complex industrial manufacturing and aerospace facilities, with emphasis on developing construction documents and ensuring compliance with building codes and life safety requirements. ## Key Responsibilities * Oversee the development of comprehensive construction documents for aerospace and industrial manufacturing facilities * Sign and seal architectural drawings and specifications as the Architect of Record * Perform and document detailed life safety analyses for complex facilities * Coordinate with engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle * Ensure code compliance and integration of life safety systems in architectural designs * Lead technical design reviews and quality control processes * Mentor junior staff on technical documentation and regulatory requirements * Interface with regulatory authorities during permitting and approval processes ## Required Qualifications * Current Florida Architectural License * Ability and willingness to obtain architectural licensure in additional states as projects require * 10+ years of architectural experience with progressive responsibility * Demonstrated experience with life safety analysis for industrial and/or aerospace facilities
