What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years of hands-on experience in fabrication, machining, or heavy industrial assembly environments, Experience operating and supporting both manual machining equipment (including lathes and mills) and CNC machining systems, Proficiency using standard hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and performing shop-related arithmetic calculations, Ability to read, interpret, and execute work from detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation, Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures, Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic team settings, Clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work

Nice to Have

Experience viewing, measuring, and interpreting 3D CAD models to support fabrication and installation activities, preferably using Teamcenter or NX, Knowledge of large-scale structural steel transport, lifting, and installation for truck and ocean freight operations, Experience performing field machining operations such as magnetic drilling, flange facing, and line boring, Rigging experience ranging from bridge cranes to large off-road cranes, with a focus on safe lifting and load-handling practices, Experience using portable metrology instruments such as laser trackers, large volume scanners and handheld scanners, Familiarity with metrology software including Verisurf or Spatial Analyzer, Basic understanding of GD&T, Understanding of design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA), including supporting transitions from prototype builds to production operations
