What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Approval limit of at least SGD$1, 500, 000 standard and substandard terms, Post-secondary education or equivalent work, Minimum 5 years’ underwriting experience, ALU Level 1 certificate ALU 201, 202 ACS 100, knowledge of underwriting good understanding of company’s various businesses, General knowledge of referral areas, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, analytical ability to define, research and resolve problems, knowledge of mainframe and PC environment, Ability to create and maintain customer relationships, Ability to prioritize and work effectively under deadlines balancing published service times with an appropriate customer focus, Ability to comprehend, retain and apply current technical information to daily work issues, Sound knowledge of insurance contract law and state legislative requirements, knowledge of company plans, riders, benefits and illustrations (and how they are marketed), Sound knowledge of reinsurance marketplace (including underwriting strengths and weaknesses) to work proactively with the field where reinsurance is an opportunity, Thorough understanding of automatic reinsurance agreements, knowledge of medical science, technology and terminology and their impact on mortality, Sound knowledge of financial and other non-medical underwriting factors, Basic knowledge of product pricing

Completion or in the progressing to complete ALU and LOMA designation, Completion of technical underwriting seminars
