What They're Looking For.

Must Have

minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role / global business sector, experience in Corporate Administration and Secretarial matters, sound knowledge of Companies Act, Financial Services Act and relevant legislation affecting Global Business in Mauritius, experience in supporting and mentoring junior team members

What You'll Do.

manage complex corporate secretarial matters

provide guidance on governance issues

oversee critical corporate actions

maintain key relationships

ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

make process improvement recommendations

Coordinate board and committee meetings including preparation of board packs and minutes

Lead the implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures while ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance

Manage complex corporate secretarial matters e. g.

refinancing arrangements

and constitutional amendments and oversee corporate transactions including share issuances

and structural changes

Review and approve corporate documentation

statutory and regulatory filings

and ensure compliance with governance frameworks

Maintain administrative quality control and risk management through AML/CFT compliance and control frameworks

manage full entity lifecycle including onboarding

and closures as well as oversee billing processes and resolve complex fee-related matter

Team & Collaboration

Manage relationships with key stakeholders including board members, external advisors, regulators, and service providers; Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members
