Full Job Description
**[What the role is]** The officer will be part of a team which manages the key regulatory processes of the Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS). The role will focus on the management of the overall ARS application and renewal process. The officer will also be involved in ARS policy reviews, and the development and testing of new ARS processes to be incorporated into the Integrated Learning Management (ILM) Portal. **[What you will be working on]** **Primary Responsibilities** _ARS Application & Renewal_ * Manage the overall Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS) application process via the ILM portal for Tier 1 & Tier 2 asatizah. * Manage the ARS renewal process including the processing of “show cause” letters and issuance of ARS certificates. Maintain the ARS Directory of asatizah. _ILM Portal_ * Develop user specifications and testing of new ARS system features. Ensure quick timely resolution of system issues. _Policy Review_ * Contribute to regular review and communication of ARS policies. _ARS Helpdesk_ * Respond to asatizah and public queries on ARS policy matters. **Secondary Responsibilities** * Plan and assist in the facilitation of the ARB retreat. * Assist in ARB investigations work. **[What we are looking for]** **Qualification & Experience** * Tertiary education in Islamic Studies with a Tier 1 (Graduate) Recognition under the Asatizah Recognition Scheme. * At least 2 years’ experience in regulatory work, with strong interest in asatizah development and the religious sector. * Strong network within the asatizah fraternity. **Skills & Competencies** * Strong stakeholder management skills across religious, government, and industry audiences. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across levels. * Meticulous, organised and able to manage multiple workstreams concurrently. * A self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively.
