Resolve any issues brought up by section staffs in their daily duties; Periodic checks to ensure that all exceptions, outstanding issues are accounted for and reconciled or resolved timely; Review reconciliation items as trigger by auto reconciliation process; The ability to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate the risk to the business unit

What You'll Do.
Manage and supervise the day to day operation of Foreign Exchange processing
Ensure trades are executed in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements
Assist Team Lead in ensuring smooth administration of the Department
Represent the section in meeting related to FX operations issues
Liaise with dealers on daily operations issues
Ensure all tasks execution or completion are according to SOP and relevant policy
Ensure operations management reports are well prepared and submitted on time for internal and regulatory requirement
Periodic checks to ensure that all exceptions
outstanding issues are accounted for and reconciled or resolved timely
Review reconciliation items as trigger by auto reconciliation process
Resolve any issues brought up by section staffs in their daily duties
Coach and guide section subordinates in carrying out their duties
Ensure job segregation within the FX section is aligned to job function
Adhere to mandatory training requirements and all critical function are suitably skilled
Participate in continual upgrading of the operational controls
Ensure appropriate operational controls and escalation procedures are practised to minimize operational risks
Comply and monitor and ensure all risks and control measures are in places
control and mitigate the risk to the business unit
Participate in BCP exercise in managing resilience by assesses interconnections/end to end process low between the systems & processes (as per BCP plan)
Assist Team Lead on managing the team by reviewing the operational procedures for improvement
Review and assess process are scalable/sustainable as to ensure timeliness and accuracy on regulatory reporting
Maintain high standard service delivery and work closely with Treasury to improve services rendered to them
Liaise with departments and branches to streamline inter-departmental processes
Review and update periodically operations manual and procedures
Participate in new product meeting and UAT
Review the operational requirements in terms of infrastructure and resources required to support new products
Understand of the business strategy and appropriate role given
Participate in system UAT and process development for system upgrades as well as enhancements
Handle any adhoc requirement or project from management
Relief duties for other officers when necessary
