Full Job Description

**[What the role is]** As a Senior Executive for Financial Reporting, you will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing investment operations and driving continuous improvement in our financial systems and processes. This role combines investment management with strategic system enhancement, requiring you to work closely with both internal teams and external agencies to ensure efficient and effective student financial services. **[What you will be working on]** * Manage the organisation’s investment portfolio, including investment recommendation and execution, accounting, performance monitoring, reporting, and handling of investment-related audit matters * Review and enhance investment policies to ensure alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives, spending needs, governance requirements and risk appetite * Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Finance and Investment Committee * Prepare returns for reporting to government agencies in a timely and accurate manner * Perform data analytics to provide insights for process and policy reviews * Review, streamline, and improve finance policies and processes, including leveraging technology enablement and automation * Support finance transformation initiatives and ad hoc projects as required **[What we are looking for]** * Suitable credentials in Accountancy or Finance * Experience in investment management and financial analysis will be preferred * Understanding of finance processes and controls, with the ability to identify opportunities for streamlining, improvement, and automation. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft data analytics tools to automate and simplify Excel workflows, analyse data, and build interactive dashboards * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment to support finance transformation initiatives. * Good verbal and written communicatio
