Bachelor's degree in physical science, natural science, policy, economics, or environmental science, 6+ years of experience with environmental reviews, mine permitting, or NEPA project management
Nice to Have
Master's degree preferred, 4+ years of experience managing/preparing NEPA documents or environmental permitting, Recent working experience with BLM and/or US Forest Service regulations, Experience obtaining environmental permits, Experience reviewing technical studies, Experience managing pre-NEPA work, Experience with developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets

**Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager – Mining Team Mountain West Remote ** **Ready to make a difference?** ICF is seeking an experienced **Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager** to support our mining team in the Mountain West (Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and Alaska). The ideal candidate will have experience managing federal and state permitting and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance for mining and other energy projects, and associated regulations and mining laws. We lead the environmental compliance efforts for our client’s complex and often controversial projects nationwide, including mining, energy, transportation, and other infrastructure projects and regulatory programs. We manage permitting and environmental review processes (environmental impact statements [EISs] and environmental assessments [EAs]) that include consultation with regulatory agencies; public involvement; collection of baseline data, preparation of special studies, analysis of environmental, cultural, socioeconomic, and other impacts; and specification of measures to mitigate adverse impacts. Our clients include numerous federal, state, and international agencies and private mining companies.
