Must Have
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field, 8+ years of engineering experience, 5+ years of experience in testing Firmware / Embedded Software and Applications (Desktop + Web), Experience in testing software-controlled hardware devices, embedded systems, or firmware-driven products, Hands-on experience with Firmware functional testing, Hands-on experience with System integration testing, Hands-on experience with Application testing across Desktop and Web platforms, Experience in manual test case design, execution, and validation for firmware features as well as desktop/web application workflows, Understanding of hardware-software interaction, system behavior, and integration points, Experience with test case management software tools, Excellent technical documentation skills for formal V&V / regulatory submissions, Written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries, Experience with developing and maintaining automated testing systems, Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks, Hands-on automation scripting experience in Java / Python, Familiarity with Git, Jenkins CI, and the ability to build/maintain a test pipeline, Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, or Ethernet, Experience with hardware-in-loop (HIL), simulation-based testing, or device-level validation environments, Experience with testing software-controlled hardware devices, Experience working in Agile development methodologies
