Active TS/SCI security clearance, US Citizenship is required, BAS and 14 - 17+ years of related OR Master's degree and 13+ years of related OR PhD/JD and 10+ years of related experience, 14+ years progressive WAN/transport engineering, network architecture, or telecommunications experience, Deep expertise in OTN and ITU-T standards G. 709, G. 798, G. 872, MPLS/IP, Ethernet, VPN/IPsec overlays, and enterprise/carrier WAN design patterns, Advanced routing and traffic engineering (BGP, OSPF/ISIS), path control, convergence, SDWAN and secure connectivity patterns (SASE/SSE), segmentation, and policy design, QoS design (marking, queuing, shaping), performance engineering (latency/jitter/loss), and capacity planning, Network security technologies, boundary protections, and Zero Trust networking principles, Demonstrated ability to create field-ready engineering packages (diagrams, IP plans, BOMs, configuration templates, implementation steps, cutover/rollback, and test/validation), Excellent technical writing - engineering documentation and briefing technical/non-technical stakeholders, CONUS/OCONUS travel required

Full Job Description
M9 Solutions is dedicated to providing IT services and solutions to the Federal Government by mobilizing the right people, skills, clearance levels, and technologies to help organizations who desire improved performance and modern, sustainable change. M9 has provided quality IT services and support to more than 30 Federal Agencies and multiple commercial customers nationwide. Our capabilities include digital transformation, software development, cloud migration, applications plus MPLS/IP, Ethernet, VPN/IPsec, SDWAN, SASE/SSE. WAN work package deliverables: HLD/LLD, logical/physical diagrams, IP plans, routing/QoS policies, security boundary requirements, BOM/part lists, rack elevations, configuration templates, interface cut sheets. Methods of Procedure (MOPs), implementation plans, cutover schedules, rollback procedures, and test/validation plans. Network engineering compliance evidence: configuration baselines, implementations, boundary descriptions, and support. Tier 3/4 troubleshooting and root cause analysis (routing instability, path asymmetry, MTU, encryption overlays, QoS, and provider impairments). WAN capacity planning: bandwidth, optical/Carrier Ethernet capacity, routing headroom, power/cooling, and lifecycle/EOL. L0 circuit delivery/integration/activation coordination, as-built documentation. ROM estimates and cost models for new sites, routes, and WAN services. Required Skills and Qualifications Active TS/SCI security clearance. Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
