What You'll Get to Do As Senior Engineering Manager, you'll lead two interconnected engineering functions from a single management seat, overseeing both Design Engineering (partnering with commercial teams to translate customer requirements into fabrication-ready specs for custom extrusion orders) and Production Engineering (receiving signed contracts and designing all windows to customer specification through delivery). This is a leader-of-leaders role with broad influence over how our engineering group operates, performs, and grows. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, & develop engineering staff through hands-on coaching, structured performance management, & career development Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, & trust that strengthens team cohesion & retention Manage the preparation of detailed product layout drawings, bills of material, & related fabrication & component drawings for specific projects Manage the Production Engineering process to maintain budgeted volumes & on-time delivery Own the overall coordination of translating customer order information into manufacturing-ready formats bills of materials, cutting information, & drawings used by purchasing & production Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new & revised products including establishing goals, training team members, & evaluating results Serve as a technical resource for sales & project management teams Confer with architects, sales
