Must Have

10+ years of software engineering experience, 4+ years in engineering leadership roles, Proven leadership of backend/platform teams delivering large-scale, high-traffic applications, Deep expertise in distributed systems, Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture (GCP/AWS/Azure), Deep expertise in microservices, Deep expertise in data platforms, Proven experience designing resilient, scalable, and secure platforms at enterprise scale, Hands-on understanding of cloud platforms (GCP), Hands-on understanding of Kubernetes, Hands-on understanding of observability frameworks, leadership in system design, leadership in architecture reviews, leadership in cross-team technical governance, Prior Hands-on expertise in full-stack development, Prior Hands-on expertise in API design, Prior Hands-on expertise in data modeling, Prior Hands-on expertise in infrastructure-as-code, technical background in modern frontend frameworks (React, Next. js, etc.), ability to guide architectural decisions, Experience with CI/CD, Experience with automated testing, Experience with release management, Experience with observability, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, influencing skills, Track record of driving engineering excellence, Track record of driving career development, Track record of driving cross-team influence
